رسميا أصدر الإتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم “CAF” اليوم الأحد 15 يناير 2023، برئاسة الجنوب أفريقي باتريس موتسيبي، بيانًا حول التصريحات السياسية في إفتتاح أمم أفريقيا للمحليين “الشان”.
وصرح الإتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم “الكاف” عبر موقعه الرسمي : “الإتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم ملزم، وفقا لأنظمته ولوائحه الأساسية ولوائح الفيفا بعدم المشاركة أو التورط في السياسة والحياد في المسائل ذات الطابع السياسي”.
وتابع الكاف: “تم إبلاغ الإتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم بأنه تم الإدلاء ببعض التصريحات السياسية خلال حفل إفتتاح بطولة كأس أمم أفريقيا للمحليين في الجزائر 2022 يوم الجمعة 15 يناير 2023 في الجزائر العاصمة”.
وأضاف الإتحاد: “هذه التصريحات السياسية ليست تصريحات الإتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم، ولا تعكس وجهات نظر أو آراء الإتحاد الأفريقي كمنظمة محايدة سياسيا”.
وفي الختام أكد الإتحادالإفريقي لكرة القدم بأنه “سيقوم بالتحقيق والنظر في البيانات والأحداث السياسية في حفل إفتتاح البطولة، وتقييم ما إذا كان هناك إمتثال للوائح ولوائح الإتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم والفيفا، وسيقدم الإتحاد الأفريقي تحديثا في هذا الصدد في الوقت المناسب”.
